Created a web based, xml driven data access layer
and SQL back end for an entertainment/marketing site. The application
provided a complete suite of tools to manage all data points within the
application, as well as providing both canned and on-demand reporting of all
data stored. The system automatically submits email and internal system
notification of significant events to relevant parties. ASP against SQL2008; Javascript; AJAX |

Created a web-based application to manage,
document, and report on ExxonMobil processes and procedures. This replaced an
Access-based single user application used by a subcontractor of ExxonMobil. ExxonMobil
adopted this application for use with all its subcontractors as it was found
to cut hundreds of man hours per month in documentation, reporting and the
collation of data from partners. ASP/ASP.NET2003/ASP.NET2005 against SQL2005/ SQL2008; Javascript; AJAX |

Built a web
application that provides end-to-end integration for the customer's shipping
reseller business. Employed (and helped re-define) API toolsets from UPS and
FedEx tracking notification systems. The application built allowed the
reseller to offer a more complete and integrated application to their
customers as well as providing up to the minute status of all customers’

website for a property listing using the street address of the home as the
URL. Key features included hit statistics tracking for use in real time
reporting to the selling agent, automated submission of the domain name to
registrar, customizable themes for listings, and database driven component
system for quick addition of new modules for customer usage. SQL2000/SQL2005/SQL2008; Javascript |

Senior Programmer, Energy Trading Company |

Maintained and modified a custom application
suite for all aspects of the Power Marketing Industry (trade management, accounting,
position and risk management, pricing, and confirmation). As application
matured, separated the data and business layers to ease further application development.
Created application portal to control application versioning and updating,
allowing IS to better control access for remote users. Assisted in
facilitating the growth and direction of said application suite for the
changing energy marketing environment on a continual basis. VB6 against SQL2000 Created a web-based application for the IT
department to integrate several hardware and software management systems. This
allowed for IT to rapidly respond to problem machines, as well as providing
the ability for management to better determine which machines were at risk
due to old virus detection files, unapplied Microsoft patches, and other
failed application updates. Active systems queried included McAfee ePolicy
Orchestrator, LANDesk, SpySweeper, WSUS, and Active Directory via SQL. This
tool became one of the primary detection tools for the IT department to manage
2000+ desktops and laptops over 11 locations nationally. ASP.NET2005 against SQL2000 Created an application to assist in the
transition from a sister company’s trading system to our in-house system. Key features included: ·
custom scripting language ·
ability to run this
scripting language against both Oracle8i and SQL2000 servers simultaneously
to better facilitate the transfer of data ·
ability to run script
commands against returned datasets This allowed the company to remove the dependency
on the 3rd party application several months ahead of schedule,
saving tens of thousands of dollars in maintenance fees and removing the
requirement of positions dedicated to the maintenance of the application and
duplicated trade data. VB.NET against SQL2000 |
